Getting Verified

You may have noticed that some Facebook Pages have a blue or gray check mark next to the Page name. This little badge indicates to users that the page has been verified as the official Facebook page of the brand, person, or company that the page represents.

Getting your page verified is not the most high-impact page optimization you can perform; this isn't the low hanging fruit that you take care of before anything else. Still, it makes sense to check this item off your to-do list when you've become well-known as an artist.
